Executive Summary
Boosteroid is the world’s 3rd largest cloud gaming provider that operates 27 data center points of presence – one of the widest GPU-based hardware networks in the world – bringing low-latency cloud gaming experience to over 6.8 million users in Europe, North and South America. Boosteroid helps players run 1200+ video games, including the world’s most popular titles, on any desktop, mobile or smart TV device, regardless of its processing power and operating system. Currently, the company is headquartered in Austin, Texas with its main R&D office based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Boosteroid has a team of 120+ people.
The company faced the double-edged sword of rapid user growth. As the business grew, rapidly scaling its high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure to accommodate demand and simultaneously drive geographic expansion was challenging. To achieve their goal of reaching at least 100 million active users globally within the next 5-7 years, Boosteroid partnered with WhiteFiber to leverage its HPC solutions. WhiteFiber's ability to quickly and cost-efficiently scale infrastructure without sacrificing performance or reliability proved essential to supporting Boosteroid’s strategic growth.

Scaling for Customer Demand
As Boosteroid expanded its user base and entered new geographic markets, the demand for infrastructure that could support high-quality, low-latency cloud gaming experiences grew exponentially. Key challenges included maintaining consistently high performance, rapid server deployment, and cost-effective scaling. The risks of ineffective scaling could lead to long queue times, negative user experiences, potential user churn, and late entry into key markets.
Strategic Partnership with WhiteFiber
Boosteroid selected WhiteFiber for their proven capability to deploy high-density, scalable, and energy-efficient infrastructure globally. WhiteFiber's operational agility allowed for alignment with Boosteroid's growth strategy, enabling swift and efficient server deployment across multiple continents. WhiteFiber’s role extended beyond procuring hardware as this partnership allowed Boosteroid to maintain a balance between cost-efficiency and deployment speed.
Looking Ahead
Looking to the future, Boosteroid plans to expand further into Africa, Southeast Asia, and deepen their presence in the Americas and Europe. WhiteFiber’s scalable and agile approach positions it ideally to continue supporting Boosteroid’s ambitious global expansion.
Our partnership with WhiteFiber allows for a $700 million server acquisition within the next 5 years. In addition to our direct infrastructure procurement, this will allow Boosteroid to reach its strategic goal of investing $1 billion in hardware to support 100 million users by the end of this decade.
