We’re excited to announce that WhiteFiber has completed the acquisition of a 96-acre, ~1 million square foot industrial property in Madison, North Carolina. This location will become our newest flagship data center campus - purpose-built to support the next generation of AI workloads and modern colocation needs. Our first customer for NC-1 has been secured under non-binding LOI.

This expansion reflects our ongoing investment in delivering scalable, high-performance infrastructure to customers across industries. Whether you're building in the cloud, colocating high-density racks, or operating a hybrid environment, WhiteFiber is committed to providing the flexibility, power, and reliability needed to scale with confidence.

A Strategic Location for High-Density Growth

Located in North Carolina’s Piedmont Triad - within 100 miles of Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, and Winston-Salem - this site offers a unique combination of power availability, infrastructure footprint, and geographic reach.

With 24 MW of power expected to come online in Q4 2025 (and a total of 99 MW secured), the campus has the potential to scale up to 200 MW over time, subject to obtaining Electricity Service Agreements from Duke Energy and certain other conditions.

That makes it one of the most robust and forward-looking HPC colocation facilities in the region.

“North Carolina’s leadership in high performance computing started decades ago with our research universities, the Research Triangle, and our focus on the future. WhiteFiber’s decision to join our state’s IT community will help bring the next generation of computing excellence to North Carolina."

Josh Stein,
Governor of North Carolina
